Born in 1989, based in Hong Kong
Wai Yu in Chinese character is 慧瑜, meaning ‘flawless gem with wisdom’
Most Hong Kongers have a Christian name that they use on a regular basis,
as well as in international and English-speaking context, and mine is Nonika.
I chose it by myself as I like a name with 3 syllables and the intonation as ‘mi-sol-do’ in a tirad.
You can call me either Wai Yu or Nonika, or Why You, Nika, Nokia...I am all ok.
A writer. A producer. A director.
A marketer. A project manager. A publicist.
A yoga practitioner and teacher. A mindfulness facilitator.
A storyteller.
